The National Weather Service in Houston/Galveston has issued a dense fog advisory... which is in effect until 7 am CST this morning.
Dense fog has developed over the area with visibilities dropping below a quarter mile at times. The fog will burn off about an hour after sunrise.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down... use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
