The Flood Warning continues for the Navasota river near Normangee * until late Wednesday night... or until the warning is cancelled. * At 0800 PM Monday the stage was 14.9 feet. * Minor flooding is forecast. * Flood stage is 15.0 feet. * Forecast... rise above flood stage by this evening and continue to rise to a crest of 15.6 feet Tuesday morning. The river will then begin a slow fall and will fall below flood stage by Wednesday early afternoon. * At 15.0 feet... minor lowland flooding begins as water escapes the Main Channel and inundates the flood plain.
