Dense Fog Advisory
Statement as of 2:25 am CST on November 7, 2009 |
... Dense fog advisory in effect until 10 am CST this morning...
The National Weather Service in Austin/San Antonio has issued a dense fog advisory... which is in effect until 10 am CST this morning.
Expect areas of dense fog to reduce visibilities to just a few hundred feet at times through 10 am CST. The rapid changes in visibility will make for hazardous travel conditions during the morning commute. The fog should dissipate by 10 am.
Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A dense fog advisory means visibilities will frequently be reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving... slow down... use your headlights... and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.
